When Dalton's hours were cut from his restaurant job, he knew it was time to make a change and find stability. He always loved technology - so he enrolled in the IT Systems program at WSU Tech, with a focus in cybersecurity. Hear his story below.
You can start a program like Dalton's as early as January 2021. Depending on where you were laid off, you could get your training paid for in full.

The “Get Trained. Get Paid.” campaign was developed to keep and support the Wichita region’s world-class workforce. This initiative connects local training and job opportunities to those who were affected by layoffs. Community partners collaborating on this campaign include the City of Wichita, Greater Wichita Partnership, Sedgwick County and Workforce Alliance.
